Luis Antonio Coca

Luis, originally from Bolivia, moved from Kansas City after the pandemic to train at Lines Dance Academy under the coaching of the Ayala family. He started from the very basics with Mambo Con Clave (our beginner team) and worked his way up to Mambo Reborn (our professional team). He has competed in Amateur Salsa Solo for five years, earning wins at competitions including The Summit Championship, Latin Crown, and Paramount Cup. He has also trained under Mambo a lo Ayala and won the prestigious La Negra Pasos Libres team division with them in 2022. 

In 2025, Luis trained in Tampa, Florida, under the world championship studio: Iroko Dance Company. After returning, he has grown in his partner work and found a love for teaching. 

He strives to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable learning and growing.
