Paloma Laguna
Originally from Spain, has been dancing since the age of seven. She began her dance career in flamenco and music in Spain, where she also performed in carnivals and dance competitions, specializing in Flamenco, Samba and Modern Dance.
After moving to the United States in 2012, Paloma continued her studies in dance and music, expanding her training to include South American folkloric dance with Valverde Dance Company in San Francisco, California.
Since 2022, Paloma has been a Bachata and Salsa, student, instructor, performer and choreographer with Salseros Dance Company in Eugene. She has continued her professional development with internationally renowned artists, including Marco y Sara, Korke & Judith, and Alex & Desiree, and completed the Alex & Desiree Bachata Instructor Program at Lines Dance Academy in Portland.
Since 2020, she has also studied music at The Academy of Bachata in the Dominican Republic while continuing her flamenco training under Maestra Martita Santiago in Eugene.
Paloma teaches bilingual group classes and private lessons at Salseros Dance Studio and co-leads the Bachata Teams.
